Film: Petit Pays kicks off with Premieres
Awaited film Rwandan Film Petit Pays recently started off with world premieres. Having successfully screened at the cinema Pathé Bellecour in Lyon on February 17, an event which attracted over 400 people. The film is to continue with more screenings.
Directed by Eric Barbier, the film is an adaptation of the Petit Pays– a novel by Gaël Faye, the Prix Goncourt des students winner, which brings to life his personal real life experience of life as a refugee in Burundi, then later to France as the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsis escalated.
In Rwanda it will on March 7th in Kigali, alongside Jean-Paul Rouve, Djibril Vancoppenolle, Isabelle Kabano and Delya De Medina.
